The monkeys swing into Action

After hours of negotiations between Northern Monkey's manager Damian Lofthouse, and players agent Oto Selection we are delighted to announce the first squad ever to wear the Lilac Monkey shirt. The squad list in full is below.

With a mixture of experience and youth, along with a few household names including the strong centre back Gary Cahill, Northern Monkeys stand an excellent chance of raising the canopies when the season kicks off on Monday 18th August.

The team takes root!

With less than a week to go before the start of a new football season a press conference is called in the jungles of Anglia. Press vultures from all corners of the faly tree gathered at the Tree Tops Stadium - home of the newly formed Northern Monkeys FC. This press conference was requested by owner/manager Damian Lofthouse, who had but a few short words to say,

"Today see's the birth of tomorrow's superstars."

One onlooking fan from outside the Tree Tops, Jasper Parrot is quoted as saying

"Today see's the birth of tomorrow's superstars." which really sums up the general feeling around these grounds this evening. A feeling of excitement, curiosity and nervousness. The locals here are certainly taking those words home with them, let's just hope the manager can bring home the bananas.
